Lvea Church
Lvea is located Battambang Province at the heart of the major rice producing area of the country.
In year 2000 Battambang rice is famous for it's wonderful quality and is in demand throughout the country. The topography of the area is that of a flat flood plain but the setting of the home is on a Village city street in a rural area. The typical profession of people who attend church at the Lvea Church and Orphan Home is farming.
The major orphan producing factors for the home are land mines, war and disease. Battambang was at the heart of the Khmer Rouge fighting prior to peace in 1998. Due to the strategic importance of the area as a "bread basket" which borders Thailand, the area was heavily mined by both Khmer Rouge and Cambodian forces during more than 27 years preceding peace. Malaria, Dengue Fever, and other tropical diseases are common in the area with mosquito borne diseases the most prevalent.
From 2000 to 2025 we have been raising many orphans and vulnerable children in this Orphan home and generally a typical day begins as the children awake before eating breakfast the orphans
participate in devotions. The school age children either attend classes in the morning or in the late afternoon. After lunch, most of the orphans take naps, play, study, and take classes in the home. Later, they eat dinner, take care of the homes' garden and plants, and attend an English class in the home. The Lvea family orphans finish each day gathering for church devotions, before setting up their mosquito nets and going to sleep. and they have Sunday Service at 9 AM and Every Friday night at 7 PM they have special devotion and pray. but 2025 we are don’t raise the Orphan or vulnerable children any more because the government want us to do the church, youth and children ministry instead.
