KonTrey church
Kontrey Church founded that in January 2006 the Foursquare Children of Promise was built an orphan home to collect the orphan children to live the home.
The home has the distance about 45 km from the province town and 10 km from high way. Most of the children parent death by childbirth, mines, violence, and diseases such as malaria and AIDS. After they live in the orphan home they live with the hopeful.
The Kon Trey orphan home is located in the Kon Trey village in Banteay Meanchey province. The province is agriculturally productive so a lot of people are field workers. When they have free time from harvest they leave their home town to work in other province or work in Thailand. A lot of diseases like Malaria, tuberculosis, dengue fever, and other tropical diseases are common in the area with mosquito borne diseases the most prevalent and it
was controlled by the Khmer Rouge. Because a lot of problems make this area difficult to develop. From 2006 to 2025, we have been raising many orphans and vulnerable children . and generally the children in this home typically begin their day with devotions before eating breakfast. Those of school age either attend classes in the morning or in the late afternoon. After lunch, most of the orphans take naps, play, study, and attend languages classes in the home. Later, they eat a dinner consisting mostly of rice, fish and fresh fruits and vegetables grown on the church grounds. The family finishes each day, gathering for church devotions, setting up their mosquito nets and going to sleep. and they have Sunday Service at 9 AM and Every Friday night at 7 PM they have special devotion and pray. but now we are don’t raise the Orphan or vulnerable children any more because the government want us to do the church, youth and children ministry instead.
Kong Keo is the pastor of the Kontrey Church in Banteay Meanchey Province.
His family was converted to Christianity and has a gift for Sheared the Good news and serving the Lord.
