Chomka Somraong church
Chomka Somraong Church is located in the city of Battambang at the heart of the major rice producing area of the country.
Battambang boasts of being the second largest city in Cambodia but it shares that claim with both Kompong Chhnang and Siem Reap.
Since Cambodia lacks accurate census figures it is only fair to say it is one of the largest cities in Cambodia in 1998, although it is small when compared to Phnom Penh. The population runs around 150,000. Battambang rice is famous for it's wonderful quality and is in demand throughout the country. The topography of the area is that of a flat flood plain but the setting of the home is on a major city street on the eastern edge of town. Battambang was at the heart of the Khmer Rouge fighting peace in 1998. and due to the strategic importance of the city as a route to Thailand, the area was heavily mined by both Khmer Rouge and Cambodian forces during the past 27 years.
The major orphan producing factors for the home are land mines, war, divorced parent, disease, malaria, dengue Fever, and other
tropical diseases are common in the area with mosquito borne diseases the most prevalent and AIDS deaths are the fastest growing contributor to the orphan population. so that is why from 2005 to 2025, we have been raising many orphans and vulnerable children in this church. at that time, they were very happy living in the Church/Home, and their Habits was a typical day begins as the children awake. before eating breakfast, the orphans participate in devotions. the school age children either attend classes in the morning or in the late afternoon. after lunch, most of the orphans take naps, play, study, and take classes in the home. Later, they eat dinner, take care of the homes' garden and plants, and attend an English class in the home. Every Sunday Service: 9 AM , Friday Devotion: 7 PM they have special devotion and pray. but now we don’t raise the Orphan any more because the government want us to do the church, youth and children ministry instead.

His family was converted to Christianity and faithful and serving the Lord.
